Figure Workshop in Westport

Join this ongoing group that meets every Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Westport Art Group’s Center
Artists come from Newport, Dartmouth, Tiverton and Providence to paint and draw in this welcoming environment where live models are experienced and inspiring. Following a series of short poses in the first 30-45 minutes, the model assumes a long pose for the remainder of the session.  All levels of experience are welcome.  No instruction is provided but participants mingle during breaks and are always supportive of one another’s efforts.

Please bring your choice of materials and an easel if you usually work with one. Fees are $15/session or $10/wk if paid on a monthly basis.

One artist, Nancy Coykendall Robertson, has said, "You are certainly offering a wonderful opportunity for artists to practice their skills in a very important venue."

If you would like more information about the Figure Workshop, please call Carolyn Winter at 401-624-1699 or 401-316-8272.
